Photowalking Through Taipei’s History

People don’t do Photowalks for exercise, that’s for sure! The average Photowalker’s walking pace is only about a kilometer per hour. I was able to confirm this on several Photowalks with the use of Google Fit. Though we don’t walk much, the point of a Photowalk is to expand our experience of Taipei through a lens. In this article, we’ll discover a few locations that are worth taking the time to photograph.

Over several different trips, you can experience a little piece of Taipei in days gone by: from the Qing era, through the colonial period and the early Republican years, to the modern city. (More on PG 13)
